Sealed bids will be received by the City of Parkville Missouri, 8880 Clark Avenue Parkville, MO 64152 Attn: Melissa McChesney, City Clerk until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014. Deliveries shall be made to the CITY CLERK at City Hall. All Bids must be in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked on the exterior in noticeable type and font as “BID PROPOSAL – SEWER CCTV & CLEANING PROJECT.” Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at approximately 2:05 p.m. in the Public Works Conference Room of City Hall.

**CONSTRUCTION NOTICE UPDATE 9/23/14**
THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (MoDOT) INFORMED PARKVILLE THIS MORNING THAT ROUTE FF (NW RIVER ROAD) WILL REMAIN CLOSED THROUGH MID-OCTOBER, 2014.
MoDOT has temporarily closed Route FF (NW River Road) to all through traffic between NW Homer White Road & NW Crooked Road for a maintenance project to repair some of the worst slope failures in the roadway.

The City of Parkville received a $1,500 micro-grant from KCP&L: Kansas City Power & Light to plant shade trees around the new Platte Landing Park Dog Park. Parkville was one of 17 organizations that received a micro-grant from KCP&L. The new trees will be planted this coming fall!

A regatta of 70 boats, Kayaks, and Canoes will set sail in Farley in the morning and reach Platte Landing Park around 1:00 p.m. They will be met by members of the Hawley family who discovered the Arabia and restored many of the artifacts carried on the steamboat. A picnic, food truck, and blue grass music will be a part of this terrific event.
