The City of Parkville is pleased announce that the next electronics recycling event is at Parkville City Hall on Tuesday, May 10 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. or until the truck is full. There is no residency requirement.
Throughout the spring and summer, the City of Parkville partners with the Parkville Commons and Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) to collect essentially anything with a cord or battery (working or not) during electronics recycling events in the parking lot at City Hall. These events are open to anyone, not just Parkville residents – anyone can get rid of freezers, cell phones, or other electronic items for free but there is a charge to recycle TVs: $20 for TVs smaller than 27” and $40 for TVs larger than 28.”

The public is invited and encouraged to attend an open house to provide input and feedback on the City’s zoning code and subdivision regulations.
Monday, May 23, 2016 – 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Municipal Court Room – Parkville City Hall 8880 Clark Ave. Parkville MO.
The City’s codes and regulations serve the purpose of promoting the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Parkville by encouraging the most appropriate and best use of land throughout Parkville; many of these codes and regulations were adopted over 40 years ago and have since been amended as needed. The majority of the codes and regulations have never been comprehensively updated. The Zoning Code and Subdivision Regulations Update will develop clear, understandable, and user-friendly documents that are consistent with existing City plans and policies, with implementations of the 2009 Parkville Master Plan and the 2014 Vision Downtown Parkville. For more information about this project, please contact the City of Parkville’s Community Development Director, Stephen Lachky at (slachky@parkvillemo.gov) or (816)-741-7676.
