MoDOT Update: Route 9 Closure for Bridge Work Scheduled This Weekend
KANSAS CITY – Route 9 will be closed in both directions between Route 169 and North Oak Trafficway for railroad bridge replacement from 10 p.m. Friday, May 2, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 5, then again from 7 p.m. Monday night through 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, and each night through Friday, May 9.
Various lanes of northbound and southbound Route 9 between Waterworks Road and Design Drive will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 2, then again Monday-Friday, May 5-9.

In general, the RFP involves janitorial services taking place two (2) days per week at Parkville City Hall (8880 Clark Avenue, Parkville, MO) and one (1) day per month at the Parkville Train Depot (8701 NW River Park Drive, Parkville, MO). Save the Date! The City of Parkville will celebrate Arbor Day on Friday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m. in the downtown parking area between Main and East Streets across from the Farmer’s Market.
The Mayor of Parkville will read the City Proclamation declaring Arbor Day in Parkville and Wendy Sangster with the Missouri Department of Conservation will award Parkville as a Tree City USA for 24 straight years.
The public is invited to attend the Parkville Arbor Day celebration and observe the planting of a new tree in the downtown parking area!
Previously, Platte and Buchanan counties had been part of Clay County until an act by the Missouri legislature separated and created the new boundaries after the Platte Purchase of 1836.
