The City of Parkville encourages residents to complete the Communities for All Ages survey to provide input and feedback on helping Parkville become a more livable community. The survey is geared toward the aging and retired population and will provide City staff and the Board of Aldermen necessary guidance for future planning and services.
The City is participating in a regional initiative to make communities more age-friendly. Studies have shown that the older adult population will greatly increase over the next 20 years. The initiative will help the City plan for this shift in demographics and better prepare it for the future to continue to serve its resident’s needs and to promote healthy living for residents of all ages.
Residents can complete the survey July 1 through August 15 on the City’s website at http://parkvillemo.gov/government/initiatives/kc-communities-for-all-ages/.
