The City of Parkville, Missouri (population 5,554), is seeking a highly qualified Public Works professional to be its next Public Works Director. Parkville is a suburb of Kansas City located in the southern portion of Platte County, Missouri along the Missouri River. Parkville is a growing community that has preserved its historic character and unique charm. The community is home to Park University, English Landing Park, Platte Landing Park, the National Golf Club, Riss Lake, and the historic downtown Main Street area. The Public Works Director has oversight for the Streets Division, Parks Division, Parkville Sewer Utility, and the Parkville Nature Sanctuaries.
