The City of Parkville will hold its annual Spring Cleanup event on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Parkville residents can drop off items at the Damon Pursell lot located at 6105 NW River Park Drive, Riverside, Missouri. The cleanup event is limited to Parkville residents only; sorry, no businesses.
Items collected include small limbs (must be bundled or tied), bagged leaves and grass (no plastic bags), used batteries, scrap metal, water heaters, auto parts, metal products, air conditioners without compressor, washers and dryers without motor, tires, furniture and household debris.
Items not collected include paint, air conditioner compressors, washer/dryer motors and household hazardous waste items. HHW items can be disposed of at the Mid-America Regional Council’s (MARC) HHW mobile event in Platte Landing Park on Saturday, May 21 from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
Proof of residency (recent Parkville sewer bill or a Platte County paid property tax receipt showing tax liability to the City of Parkville) is required; a driver’s license is not acceptable proof of residency.
