Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) will be in the parking lot at City Hall at various times throughout the spring and summer.
If you need a place to get rid of that old freezer, cell phone, or other electronic items this event is for you. The city has partnered with the Parkville Commons and MRC to collect essentially everything that has a cord or battery (working or not).
The first event of 2018 will be held February 13 from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. or until the truck is full. Most items are free but there are charges for certain electronics. A list of fees can be viewed at http://mrcrecycling.net/recycling-fees.
