Free Admission
Join us in downtown Parkville and in English Landing Park for one of downtown’s largest events. Parkville Days features a variety of family-friendly entertainment, including 75+ arts & crafts, retail, food and specialty booths and the Evans Midland Empire Carnival. Also come down and enjoy live music on the McKeon stage in beautiful English Landing Park and on Main Street in Pocket Park.

Event Parking

Parking will be available on Main Street and in Platte Landing Park. In addition, if the weather permits, parking will also be allowed on Ball Field #1 in English Landing Park and the field north of the parking lot at the entrance to Platte Landing Park.

Street/Parking Lot Closures

  • Parking lots (between Main and East streets and north of Farmer’s Market pavilion) through August 19
  • East Street (First Street to McAfee) during event hours

Parade Information

The annual Parkville Days parade will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 10 a.m. The route begins at 63rd Street and will travel south on Highway 9 to Main Street, and then south on Main Street across the railroad tracks. Parade line up will begin at 9 a.m. at 63rd Street and Bell Road.

Road Closures
63rd Street (Bell Road to Hwy 9) – 9-10 am for parade set up
Highway 9 (63rd Street to Main Street) – 10-11 am for the parade
Main Street (Hwy 9 to downtown) – 10 am to noon for the parade

Dog Park/Boat Ramp Access

Vehicle access to the dog parks and boat ramp in Platte Landing Park will be closed on Sunday, August 19th from 6:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for the Parkville River Run.

Farmer’s Market Moves to New Location for August 18th
Due to Parkville Days in downtown Parkville, the Parkville Farmer’s Market will be moved to the parking lots at Parkville City Hall (8880 Clark Avenue) on Saturday, August 18th from 7 a.m. to noon.
