Vote on your favorite Parkville Parks Master Plan concept through July 31st

The City of Parkville invites the community to share thoughts on two draft concepts as part of the planning process for the Parkville Parks Master Plan Update. Comments can be shared online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at through July 31, 2016.

The purpose of the planning effort is to create an updated Parkville Parks Plan with specific emphasis on the riverfront parks corridor, including the regionally significant Platte Landing Park and the western portion of English Landing Park. The primary goal is to re-examine community priorities for riverfront parks and develop a strategy to guide park development over the next 10 to 15 years.

The planning process began earlier this year and will continue through the summer of 2016. Feedback from community stakeholders is essential to successful development of the plan. The nine-member Parkville Community Land and Recreation Board and several Platte County officials are currently serving as the steering committee for the project.
