DESCRIPTION:\n\nCelebrate Independence Day in the City of Parkville with ho
 metown pride\, community spirit\, family-friendly fun\, and classic Americ
 ana.\n\nJoin us for a full day of patriotic fun at the annual Parkville 4t
 h of July Celebration in historic downtown Parkville.\n\nStart your mornin
 g with the traditional Pancake Breakfast hosted by American Legion Parkvil
 le Post #318 from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m. The Parkville Farmers Market will als
 o be open extended hours from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.\, giving visitors mor
 e time to shop local vendors and enjoy special activities\, including a pi
 e eating contest\, children’s face painting\, a balloon artist\, and mor
 e.\n\nAt 10:00 a.m.\, line the streets for Parkville’s beloved Independe
 nce Day Parade\, featuring local organizations\, small businesses\, famili
 es\, floats\, and plenty of red\, white\, and blue. The parade grandstand 
 will be located at Pocket Park at 1st and Main Street\, with Independence 
 Day trivia and giveaways beginning at 10:00 a.m.\n\nAfter the parade\, sho
 p local and soak in the small-town charm that makes Parkville such a speci
 al place to celebrate. Local restaurants will be open throughout the day f
 or dine-in and carry-out service.\n\nThe evening celebration begins at 6:0
 0 p.m. with festival vendors and food trucks located in the downtown parki
 ng lot\, along with kids’ activities and family-friendly fun near the ri
 ver.\n\nAt approximately 8:45 p.m.\, look to the sky for the patriotic Fal
 con Skydiving Exhibition above English Landing Park and Main Street. Then\
 , cap off the celebration with Parkville’s spectacular fireworks display
  over the Missouri River at approximately 9:30 p.m.\n\nFree shuttle servic
 e to downtown Parkville will run from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.\, with pick-up an
 d drop-off at the South Platte YMCA.\n\nBring your lawn chairs\, family\, 
 and festive spirit. The best viewing areas for the fireworks include the b
 aseball field south of the city parking lot\, Main Street\, and English La
 nding Park.\n\nAdmission is free.\n\nThe Parkville 4th of July Celebration
  is hosted and presented by the City of Parkville\, Main Street Parkville 
 Association&nbsp\;and Parkville Area Chamber and EDC.
