Elected in April 2025, Abby LacKamp proudly serves as Alderwoman for Ward 4 in western Parkville. A longtime Parkville resident, Abby brings a deep commitment to her community, backed by 18 years of experience in nonprofit leadership.
She holds a degree in History from Truman State University and has consistently demonstrated her dedication to civic engagement. Abby served for three years on the Parkville Ethics Commission and spent eight years as an officer for the Thousand Oaks Homeowners Association.
Abby and her husband, Jonathan, have called Parkville home for the past eight years, where they are raising their two children, Samantha and Benjamin. She is passionate about preserving Parkville’s unique character while thoughtfully planning for the city’s future growth.
