Apex Plaza
Located on Highway 45 at Melody Lane, Apex Plaza is a retail shopping center on 6.21 acres. It contains 33,400 square feet of retail, restaurant and commercial space. Currently, four retail stores are open to the public and two pad sites available for retail businesses. Whataburger opened in December 2023 and Chase Bank is currently under construction.
Creekside
Located at I-435 and Highway 45 in western Parkville, the Creekside development will have hotels, retail, restaurant, office space, baseball fields and industrial. Creekside is still being developed with more upcoming residential and commercial businesses.
Crestridge Shopping Center
Crestridge Shopping Center is a retail center located on Highway 45 south and west of The National subdivision.
Main Street (external link)
Main Street, located in downtown Parkville, has local dining and unique shopping. English Landing Center is located south of the railroad tracks with office, retail, storage and residential space.
Parkville Commercial Underground
Parkville Commercial Underground is an underground commercial district located on Park University property. Tenants range from distribution to warehousing to contractors.
Parkville Commons (external link)
Parkville Commons is a commercial development located at Highway 45 and Route 9 in Parkville. It has a variety of locally-owned businesses in an outdoor mall.
Six at Park
Six at Park is a five story Class A office and retail building located on Route 9 at 6th Street nestled between Park University’s main campus and historic downtown. The parking lot is available to the public during non-business hours.
Subdivisions
The Bluffs
The Bluffs is located just west of downtown Parkville nestled in the forest up the winding bluff roads overlooking the Missouri River. Homes throughout the neighborhood have very unique architectural designs.
Creekside
Located in western Parkville, Creekside offers a variety of homes, including single-family, townhomes and apartments on nearly 300 acres. The Meadows at Creekside, Thrive at Creekside, The Woods at Creekside and Creekside Village are located there.
The National
Located along Highway 45, the National is close to shopping, great parks and wonderful schools. It offers stately homes, a golf course and maintenance-free homes.
Parkville Heights
Parkville Heights is located on Highway 45 north of the Parkville Commons. It is a quiet, well-established community conveniently located near a variety of amenities Parkville has to offer.
Pinecrest
Pinecrest is located on Route 9 south of Highway 45. Pinecrest is nestled in a wooded area across from Parkville Commons and the Platte County Community Center and is in the midst of the excitement that Parkville has to offer.
Riss Lake
Nestled in the hills of scenic Parkville, Riss Lake’s 134-acre lake fills a growing need for seclusion among scenic, natural features with surrounding landscape. The Riss Lake Dam overlooks the Parkville Nature Sanctuary.
Riverchase
The Riverchase subdivision is located on Highway 9 on the southeast side of Parkville next to Riverside. It is close to downtown Parkville shopping, education at Park University and nature near the Missouri River in English Landing Park.
River Hills Estates
River Hills Estates is nestled within winding hills with homes that sit amongst large trees. The community is located off Crooked Road and is not too big or not too small.
Thousand Oaks
Portions of Thousand Oaks are located within the Parkville city limits. It combines the concepts of nature and community with trails, nature reserves and amenities.
