The City of Parkville is pleased to announce the Parks and Recreation Department’s official launch of CivicPlus® Recreation Management, an online booking platform that allows citizens to sign up for recreation programs and reserve park facilities. With the new system, it will be easier than ever to register conveniently online.
The new mobile-friendly, cloud-based solution went live on August 1, providing users with a more intuitive, easy-to-navigate system for browsing and registering for recreation activities. It also allows users to search and sign up for local activities and reserve public facilities, such as park shelters and sports fields, all conveniently online.
Users can easily register for programs, manage their accounts, print and view receipts, pay balances and more – all online or from a mobile device. Sign-ups and reservations can be submitted online through the City’s website at https://parkvillemo.gov/community/parks/reservations/.
Mayor Katerndahl stated, “Prior to implementing the CivicPlus® Recreation Management software, our reservation process was out of date and relied heavily on paper. With the new system, park users can reserve a shelter or sign up for an activity at the click of a button or the touch of a phone screen. Our priority is to provide the best customer service to our residents and to citizens that visit our city.”
