Copies of police reports are generally available within five business days after an incident has been reported. The public is able to obtain a copy at the Police Department during administrative hours. The cost for a report is $5 and the cost for a video is $35.
To verify that a report is available, contact Police Administrative Assistant Kelly Ray at (816) 741-4454. Information contained in police reports will not be disseminated over the telephone. There is a fee for copies of police reports and the amount will be determined when the report is available.
