For 4-6 weeks following the spring cleanup in April and the fall cleanup in October, Parkville residents can drop off YARD WASTE ONLY at no charge at Rockridge Quarry – 6305 NW River Park Dr. anytime Monday through Friday (except holidays) between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Yard waste does not have to be bagged. Parkville residents only. Proof of residency is required. Sorry, no businesses.
- Residency checked on-site via City of Parkville sewer utility bill or Platte County property tax bill. DRIVERS LICENSE not accepted since many folks with a “Parkville” address live in Kansas City, MO or unincorporated Platte County and do not contribute their tax dollars to help fund this program.
The spring yard waste drop off is from April 13 through May 22, 2026.
