The Parks & Recreation Department also oversees the Parkville Nature Sanctuary. The director has an office at City Hall. The parks crew is located at 9001 McAfee and office hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. They maintain the grounds, landscaping, shelters, restrooms and amenities, including baseball and soccer fields, volleyball, pickleball and basketball courts, playgrounds and dog parks.
The Parkville Nature Sanctuary is a wildlife preserve and educational site developed and maintained by the City with the help of a group of extraordinary volunteers. The director has an office at City Hall.
Please contact City Hall at (816) 741-7676 if you have lost any items (ie: phone, keys, clothing, etc.) at one of our parks. All lost and found items are collected and held at the front desk of City Hall.
