In celebration of May is Beef Month in Missouri, a ceremony will be held Thursday, May 4 at KC Cattle Company in Parkville, Mo. Governor Parson and Director Chris Chinn will proclaim May is Beef Month in Missouri to recognize the farmers and ranchers in the state and their commitment to the beef industry. Prior to the proclamation ceremony, Governor Parson and Director Chinn will tour the storefront. KC Cattle Company is a veteran-owned Wagyu cattle operation that produces beef to sell at a retail storefront. Consumers can purchase locally raised beef at their store and at various Kansas City restaurants.
