English Landing Park is a 68-acre facility with several amenities, including three miles of walking trails, a large playground area, pickleball courts, basketball court, picnic shelters, sand volleyball court and a 9-hole disc golf course. Shelters and sports fields can be reserved for dates April 1-October 31. The park is open from 5 a.m. to midnight daily. Vehicle access and parking in English Landing Park are strictly prohibited.

Platte Landing Park is located at the end of Main Street and adjacent to English Landing Park on the Missouri River and includes two miles of trails, an off-leash area for dogs, a shelter house that can be reserved for dates April 1-October 31 and a boat ramp into the main channel of the Missouri River. The park is open from 5 a.m. to midnight daily.

Pocket Park is a central gathering location in historic downtown Parkville near 1st and Main.

Watkins Park is one of the City’s two neighborhood parks, located just a few blocks from Main Street at the intersection of West and 10th streets. Watkins Park has a small walking loop, a playground, picnic shelter house, and basketball court.

Adams Park is our mini-neighborhood park located just off Main Street at the intersection of 13th and Walnut streets.

The Parkville Nature Sanctuary is a 115-acre wildlife preserve and educational site made accessible by nearly three miles of hiking trails. The sanctuary is open from dawn to dusk. No dogs are allowed at Parkville Nature Sanctuary.

The Sullivan Nature Sanctuary is located on the north side of Platte Landing Park along Rush Creek, west of the bridge entry.
